EME And R28 Deliver The Biggest Live Concert Of 2012!

Nigeria’s leading event management company R28 Events, in partnership with Empire Mates Entertainment (EME) lived up to their promise to music lovers in delivering an unforgettable experience at “The Baddest” concert.

 The big-budget event which held on Friday, December 21, 2012 at Oceanview Restaurant in Victoria Island had some of the best quality equipment in the world brought in by R28 to transform the grounds at Oceanview into a remarkable atmosphere for the thousands of fans who came out.

 

Ranging from the world class stage to state-of-the-art technical equipment, the Baddest concert can greatly be compared to concerts held internationally or global concerts as evident in the high quality equipment also utilized in some of the biggest concerts around the world.

 

The costume and makeup were also impressive as the EME all-stars shone in trend setting costumes designed by ace designer, Mai Atafo.

The Baddest concert is one of our many initiatives to please music lovers this festive period and what better way to achieve this than work with the EME crew. We brought in the best equipment to achieve the very best from this concert and we are glad it turned out well” Managing Director, R28 Events, Gbolahan Balogun said during the show.

 

Superstar Wizkid and EME boss, Banky W were the souls of the show along with EME soldier, Skales, EME’s first lady  Niyola, fast rising singer, Shaydee and talented celebrity jockey DJ Xclusive delivering pulsating performances that took fans to a whole new world of good music.

 

The Baddest Concert was an incredibly fulfilling experience for EME, R28 and our fans. There were a lot of challenges we had to overcome, but thank God we pulled through to put together one of the best live music experiences for our fans. Many thanks to everyone that supported the cause… we promise that this is ONLY the beginning.” Banky W emphasized after the show.

 

Since their introduction to the Nigerian market last year, R28 has organized some of the biggest shows in Nigeria. The company gained immense popularity after bringing all-time international popstar, Bobby Brown as well as iconic pop group, Bel Biv Devoe (BBD) to Nigeria in 2012.

 

Officials of the events company have also revealed that major plans for the new year are in the works.
